Land Windsurfing What Is The Life Expectancy Of A Carbon Fiber Windsurfing Boom?

What is the life expectancy of a carbon fiber windsurfing boom? - land windsurfing

Hey there fellow fans windsurfing,

I had my 158-190cm Chinook Carbon Boom for about 5 years. I usually surf in 57F water with a lot of cut and swollen, sometimes significantly. The size of my sails 4.5-5.5 is usually in the 18-30knts wind. I weigh about 205 kilograms of earth and leaps forward. Is it time to replace the boom? Windsurfing Direct for $ 499, it has free shipping.

Thank you,

Unless you've suffered from ultraviolet light, it should be a problem. It has not really started a life expectancy.
