Hockey Town USA, St. Paul, Minnesota. This decision was taken by Sports Illustrated, based on the fact that the Minnesota Wild has sold every game in their history (including all preseason games.)

"Capital" implies some sort of government structure. The NHL has offices in New York and Toronto, he received this designation. But the hottest, "" hockey city in North America is now Pittsburgh. Take a look at the attendance, TV ratings, etc., not to mention the most exciting team in a block of artificial ice too.
We in North America should not agree too quickly to the cities hockey world to ignore. I am sure that Moscow, Prague, Stockholm and Helsinki must all be considered as candidates for the title all over the world, especially given the NHL the next season in two of these cities.
